      There isn’t a day that goes by without me looking at my son and knowing we made the right decision having Heather as our midwife. She is the most gentle and calmest soul I have ever met. She was truly a friend during my pregnancy. She always knew how to help and everything she advised was correct in helping me. She is patient, kind, strong, and in tune with pregnancy, labor and delivery,  and babies. She is my son’s guardian angel with how she helped him after he was born. She is an angel on earth.

      If you're like me, you've gone to meet several Midwifes to try to find the perfect one. My experience with Heather was something I couldn't stop talking about with family and friends. So if you're still looking for a midwife, stop looking and choose her she will be there for you when you have the scary questions and awkward ones. Our birth story and pregnancy journey were not all easy, and she was there for us every step of the way. We could not have been more blessed to have Heather as our midwife. She provided options and always wanted us to feel heard. My pregnancy towards the end came with difficult questions and decisions she was right by our side the whole step of the way. My sons delivery was not as expected and very sudden, and Heather was there in a heartbeat. I had no family available to be with me during my delivery and she made us feel like family and helped me through my most vulnerable time after delivery if your looking for a Midwife you can trust to be professional and caring that would be Heather.

      Heather the most amazing midwife you could ever ask for. I have never felt more well cared during my prenatal visits, throughout my home birth, as well as post pregnancy care with my fourth pregnancy and first home birth. She is the best! Bringing a human into the world is such an intensely personal and intimate journey and she offers such incredible support as well as immense knowledge. She takes the time to really talk to you about what is happening with your body and with baby. I really appreciated her proactive approach on supporting your body through pregnancy and getting it ready for labor, delivery and postpartum. I am so blessed to have met and have had the support of Heather’s experience, knowledge and expertise for my first home birth experience. During my pregnancy she was thorough and holistic, it is clear she has years of experience that truly makes her an expert. I can’t say enough about her and I’d recommend her a thousand times over.

      Heather is wonderful!! Very thorough, supportive, and thoughtful. This was my first baby and I cannot express how truly grateful I am for the birth experience I had. My pregnancy didn’t start out great. I was extremely sick and my OB wasn’t doing anything but prescribing me medication after medication. None of them worked. When we switched and started with Heather she made the simplest suggestion of some supplements that changed everything. I don’t know if I would have made it through my pregnancy and birth without her care. Looking forward to baby number two one day with Heather.

      Being a more difficult client health-wise, Heather helped me along with such great patience, caring even about the emotional and mental stress I experienced with my pregnancy. I was so refreshed to find a midwife that cared about my pregnancy and delivery experiences and helped me have the best experiences yet- and I'm four kids in!       Heather has been my midwife for both of my pregnancies, and I could not recommend her more. This is going to be long, but I hope it helps someone who might be having anxiety about choosing a midwife to get a good picture of the kind of care they would get with Heather.

With my first pregnancy, labor and delivery, Heather answered my one million questions with grace and was available throughout my pregnancy by text for questions if I had a cold, or a weird symptom. Her responsiveness was such a comfort to me.

When I was in labor with my first child, the labor was very pro-longed (3 days). Heather stayed with me for at least half of that time which again, was such a comfort to a first time Mom. I've heard many stories where midwives just show up at the very end, but Heather gave me so much of her time for both of my births (I have long labors). Heather could tell something was off with this labor and after days, ended up recommending a transfer, which I am so grateful for. I share that because I know that something happening during labor can be a fear, but with a midwife like Heather who is diligent and attentive, if you are having a problem in your labor or showing signs that something might not be completely right, she will notice.
I ended up not delivering vaginally. Heather stayed with me throughout my hospital labor, following c-section, and came back the next day. Overall I think she spent close to 48 hours with me before she left. I later found out she was in early pregnancy during that time, which I know means she was probably extra exhausted!

I trusted her so much from her judgement during my first attempted home birth that she was my clear and only choice for a midwife going into my next pregnancy. Heather was so encouraging for me to have a VBAC, and helped me overcome all the fear around that process after having a hard first birth. She is so kind and attentive. Our appointments were something I looked forward to and I just loved spending time with her.
My second son was born in a beautiful and peaceful homebirth, guided by Heather. This was another situation where she spent way more time with me than what would be expected from a midwife, during my 25 hour labor.
She is also there post-partum to answer any questions and frequently just checks in to see how we are doing. She helped me through thrush, a little jaundice, and other minor things.

Synopsis: Heather is the best. I never want to use another midwife besides her, and the trust that she's built with me and my family over the years that we've known her, is deep. I felt like she gave so much to me in time and care, and i could not think more highly of her. We love her so much, and feel like she is such an integral part of our two boys birth stories.

      Love, love, love the care we received from Heather through the entirety of our pregnancy and birth. She was always ready to answer our questions and make us feel empowered. This was our third child and we felt like we learned so much from Heather. It really is amazing how much better the whole experience is when you feel in control because your provider gives you all the information to make educated choices. Our birth was exactly what I wanted it to be and I can not recommend Heather enough.

      I don't know if i can adequately describe how thankful I am to have found Heather. My birth did not go to plan, and Heather helped guide me through it. Throughout my pregnancy she was always there with advice and answers to all my questions. Having Heather with me through this journey was the best decision I made during my pregnancy.  She is very knowledgeable and compassionate and provides a personalized level of care that was beyond anything I could have imagined.
